HUB Certified is a recognition of the long-term bias projected against certain demographics, including women. Certification in the Historically Underutilized Business program give a business assurance they meet requirements as an HUB business.
Texas requires their state offices to search for HUB businesses for purchasing needs. All things being equal, the HUB receives preference.
